The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista (formerly the Regal Sun Resort) is one of the cheap Orlando hotels in Disney World. It's not a Disney Resort Hotel but one of the Downtown Disney Hotels. This means that you get all the benefits of staying on-site at Disney resort like the free shuttle services. (The only benefits you wouldn't get is the merchandise delivery to your room and charging items to your room key).

The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista was given a makeover in 2007. The main tower of the Wyndham has the best rooms and definitely the best views over the lake towards Disney.

The hotel has 3 pools, one large lap pool, one heated pool and a whirlpool/spa. There's also a kids water play area with water cannons, fountains and jets. There are several bars, restaurants and even a 24 hour convenience store on-site at this hotel.

You'll be able to get to the Disney theme parks via the free daily shuttle service that operates from this hotel. Parking is included in the hotel room rate too!

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Rooms

All rooms at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista have a refrigerator, 25 inch flat screen TV with pay-per-view movies, coffee maker, hair dryer, clock radio, in-room safe and high speed wireless internet access.

Some rooms have exterior corridoor access - similar to that of a motel. Some have interior access which gives a more 'secure' feel to the room.

You can choose from:-

Standard double - room with 2 double beds and exterior entrance
Lake View Double/King - views over the lake, tennis courts and gardens.
Tower View Double/King - with expansive views of Orlando.
Disney View Double/King - expansive views over Downtown Disney and other Disney theme parks with exterior corridoor access.
Standard Tower Double/King - rooms have interior corridoors.
Standard Accessible/Sky View Accessible rooms - these rooms enjoy views over either Orlando or over Disney World Resort. The rooms are fully equipped for handicapped access. May have either interior or exterior corridoor access.

Rates start at $69+ tax per night. The Disney View rooms are more expensive than standard/Lake view rooms.
