This downtown Orlando nightclub plays hip hop, top 40, reggaeton and 80s. The best club nights are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (ladies night). Antigua has a large dance floor with 2 huge tropical fish aquariums! Dress fashionable/trendy.
Tabu Night Club
Tabu is one of the Orlando nightclubs to be re-launched in 2011. Now named the Beecham. Music is dance, hip hop, reggaeton and latin nights on Sundays. All nights are 18+ for ladies. Dress is fashionable, no casual or sports wear. This Orlando club has guest DJs from local hip hop radio stations spinning their mixes on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Club Roxy is located next to Orlando Fashion Square Mall. This huge Orlando club has multiple dance floors and bars. Roxy's opens 6 days a week and plays a variety of music from top 40 to rock to latin depending on the night. Popular among the younger crowd, 18+.
Club 23 Orlando
Downtown Orlando nightclubs cannot beat Club 23 for stylish decor and sophisticated clientele. This a club to "be seen" and people watch. Club 23 specializes in import spirits, import beers and cocktails. Usually drinks are on the pricey side, but get in early enough to take advantage of their drinks specials.
Dragon Room Orlando
This Church St club has resident DJs playing hip hop, latin and dance. The theme is Japanese with bamboo chairs and tables and an LED lit blue curved bar. This club is 18+ on Thursdays, ladies drink free until midnight Fridays and Saturdays is 2 for 1 drink until 12am.
Club Firestone/Firestone Live
Club Firestone has been popular for years on the downtown Orlando nightclub scene. It isn't as mainstream as many of the Orlando clubs and bars. Firestone Live often plays a mix of rock, indie, electro, industrial and even 80s, 90s and 2000s tunes.
Independent Bar Orlando
The Independent Bar is another alternative nightclub to the 'ultra-lounge' scene. The I-Bar is one of the larger Orlando nightclubs open Tuesdays through Sundays. Each night has great drinks specials. Some nights are 18+. Music varies from 80s, 90s, rock n roll, synth, industrial and EBM.
Blue Martini Orlando
The Blue Martini is located off I-4 in the Mall at Millenia plaza. This upscale Orlando nightclub specializes in signature martinis (of course!) and get there during happy hour to get the best priced cocktails. Dress to impress. Open 7 days.
There are many bustling Downtown Orlando bars to choose from. Further away from the touristy area near the theme parks, Downtown Orlando is where the locals hang out. Church St/Orange Ave is the district where you'll find the most Orlando bars and clubs.

The Social Orlando
The Social has been on the downtown Orlando nightlife scene for years. This small yet bustling Orlando nightclub hosts live bands each night of the week. Acts include local and national bands. Music is mainly rock, indie, electronica and punk.
It's best to buy tickets in advance, tickets are also sold on the door.
Some events are 18+, do check when buying your tickets first.
Hard Rock Orlando
The Hard Rock is world famous as a large live music and concert venue. Located in Universal CityWalk which is an Orlando nightlife and restaurant district. Music acts are varied throughout the year. House of Blues Orlando
The HOB is located in Downtown Disney's Boardwalk area. You don't need Disney tickets to go there - in fact it is not like Disney at all! You can park for free.

Howl at the Moon
Vibe/Atmosphere: Lively rock n roll shows and musical performances, dueling pianos, sax, drums, guitar. Audience participation is all part of the show.

Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar

In the US the drinking age is 21. But often bars and nightclubs will let 18 -20s in. The clubs will usually give you a stamp or bracelet which will show that you cannot buy alcohol.

Vibe/Atmosphere: Upscale Nordic theme. One of the only Orlando bars made entirely from ice! The Ice Bar is air tight, kept at a chilly 27F and features a real ice bar, ice sculptures, ice seats and glasses carved from ice. Entry into the Ice Bar is limited to 45 minutes per ticket. You will get gloves and a cape to keep warm! Music is dance, 80s, hip hop, pop.
