The Gaylord Palms Orlando is one of the most interesting and unique Orlando hotels you'll see.
From the moment you step inside the Gaylord Palms grand atrium, you'll know you're in Florida! As the photo below shows, this huge glass atrium brings the very best of Florida together under one roof.
There's everything from the quaint island style of Key West, to historical St Augustine, to the Cypress swamps and wetlands of the Everglades (complete with real alligators and turtles!) A man from Gatorland visits three times per week to feed the alligators and give special talks about the wildife inside the Everglades atrium.
The Gaylord Palms Orlando even has it's own ship! The 60ft SS Gaylord is home to Sunset Sam's Fish Camp, a casual dining restaurant serving Floridian and caribbean dishes in a laid lack tropical atmosphere. The restaurant opens daily for lunch, dinner and late night drinks until midnight.
This stunning Orlando hotel has a selection of great bars and restaurants on-site inlcuding:-
The Gaylord Palms has four different swimming pools to choose from. The two largest pools are the Clearwater Cove area for all the family and the South Beach Pool for adults only.
Clearwater Cove has a zero entry pool area with many fun filled water activities dotted around the edge. Kids will delight in the giant Octopus waterslide and water jets and waterfalls. There are special play areas for tots too, with minature slides and interactive play areas.
The South Beach Pool offers an adults-only retreat from the noise and excitement of the family pools. The South Beach pool is styled like an art-deco Miami Beach pool and bar. You can enjoy large cocktails and snacks served from the poolside H2O Bar and Grille. This pool is open to 18s and over.
Kids Sitting Service
The Kids Nite Out child sitting service can be arranged if you want to enjoy a night out or attend an important meeting without the kids in tow. This in-room child sitting service uses only fully insured and certified child minders hired by the Gaylord Palms hotel. Child minders will bring along a variety of age appropriate games and toys to make the experience memorable for kids too!
