Universal Opening Times & Best Times to Visit

Universal Island of Adventure & Universal Studios is open 365 day a year.

Opening times are usually 9am, closing times vary according to the time of year. In the summer season both parks usually stay open until 8pm-9pm. In winter they close earlier at around 6-7pm. The earliest it closes is 5pm in December. Please see Universal's official site to confirm opening times for a specific day.

It's always good to know when is the best time to visit Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.

As a general rule, both parks are very busy in the summer months - June, July and August. Quieter months are January, February, September and early December.

From I-4 westbound (that's coming from Downtown Orlando). Take I-4 West until you reach exit 74B. Then follow the signs to the parking garage.

From I-4 eastbound (that's coming from Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista and anywhere that's south of Downtown Orlando). Take I-4 East until you reach exit 75A. Then follow the signs to the parking garage.

From Orlando International Airport, take (state road) SR-528 11 miles west until you reach I-4 East, go 2 miles and exit I-4 East at exit 75A.
