Families will find it very convenient for the near by theme parks. SeaWorld and Universal Studios are the nearest, Disney is a little further away (see driving distances further down the page). The Rosen Shingle Creek has kid friendly swimming pools too and free shuttles to Universal Studios theme parks.
Families without a car may find the location a bit isolated. It isn't possible to walk to any shops or restaurants. The free shuttle only runs to Universal Studios, so if you wanted to visit the Disney parks or SeaWorld you would have to pay for individual shuttles which could become quite costly.

There are 5 different room types at the Rosen. Two guest rooms and 3 types of suites. Guest rooms have either one king bed or two queen beds.
All 1,500 King and Queen guest rooms have mini-fridge, 32 inch flat screen TV, internet connections ($8.95/day), bath robes, Egyptian cotton bed linens, double vanity sinks, 2 telephones, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and in-room safe.
30 Hospitality Suites are available. They are perfect for smaller meetings with 2 meeting areas, bathroom and kitchen area.
69 Executive Suites available for larger meetings. These suites can be divided into 1, 2 or 3 bedroom configurations.
37 Grande Suites feature 4 bedrooms inside a spacious 1,300 sq ft suite.
3 Presidential Parlours for the ultimate in luxury. Each 1,700 sq ft Presidential Suite has 3 living room areas, 3 bathrooms and two large bedrooms.
