Aiguille Rock Climbing Center is located off S.R. 434 in Longwood just north of Orlando off Interstate 4. Inside a giant warehouse, Aiguille (meaning needle in French) is filled with multi-colored climbing surfaces shaped like arcs, cliffs, domes and plateaus. It features 25 climbing routes and a bouldering wall.

Beginners Rock Climbing in Orlando

If you have never climbed before, don't worry! Aiguille climbing gym is an excellent place to start.

You don't need any experience to begin climbing and new climbers are welcomed on a walk-in basis. You can even rent the equipment that you'll need.

It's best to bring a climbing partner for your first visit. This means that one of you can climb while the other stays on the ground controlling the safety rope (belaying). Your instructor will give you an introductory belaying lesson and guide you through how to climb and belay each before you begin.

Climbing is available to people ages 4 and up, weighing at least 45 pounds. The minimum age to belay is 14. Indoor climbing is accessible to people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and levels of fitness.
