Exhibits to Explore
NatureWorks
Explore the natural environments and eco-systems of central Florida.
Realistic Cypress swamps, Pine Flatwoods and lakes are home to a
variety of insects, animals, birds, reptiles and plants. You can even
get up close to real alligators here - presentations are frequent
throughout the day.
DinoDigThis is where the kids will get involved in digging
up dinosaur bones in the DinoDig pit. You can learn about the ancient
reptiles that used to roam the earth and seas. Compare different
dinosaur bones and see how dinosaurs are related to our present day
reptiles.
Science Park
Exhibits more great hands-on interactive stuff for kids. Learn
about light, magnetism, sound waves and electricity. Test out a giant
Tesla coil - that makes lightning bolts! Discover how earthquakes
happen and experience what it would be like to in one on the Orlando
Science Center's earthquake generator and 'shake table'.
KidsTownUnder 48" tall kids are free to explore this
miniature town. Activities include making orange juice at the Orange
Processing Factory, servicing cars at the local automotive store and
learning about how water is used in towns.
Dr Phillips CineDome
Step inside this massive 8-storey film theater and planetarium.
Grand Canyon AdventureTake a journey down the majestic
Colorado River. This film follows three intrepid explorers through
raging rapids and flying through huge canyons. This documentary
narrated by Robert Redford highlights the importance of such a river
and its water to the natural environment.
Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure Presented by National Geographic, you'll discover the many prehistoric reptiles that used to live in the depths of the oceans.

Tylosaur - a fearsome predator of pre-historic times
|
These lesser-known dinosaurs have been
re-created by using fossils found from archaeological digs combined
with realistic animation.
From this information, National
Geographic have pieced together what weird and wonderful creatures used
to inhabit the dark depths of the sea.
See the real Giant Squid, a school of Ammonites and the fearsome Tylosaur (the T-Rex of the sea!)

Orlando by Night
This live planetarium show takes place every first and third Friday of
the month. Sit back and watch the stars and planets revealed in the
night sky.Experts from the near-by Crosby observatory will guide you
through the wonders of the sun, moon and the various constellations
over Orlando. After the show you can continue to explore the skies
using the telescope.
