Orlando Jazz Festival

The Orlando Jazz Festival is one of great free Orlando events of the year. College Park, located in north Orlando, hosts this Annual Jazz Festival. This is a free event, but donations are welcomed - $5 per person is appreciated.

Now into its 10th year, the College Park JazzFest has established itself as the largest annual event in College Park, with over 4,000 in attendance last year. With two stages, this year’s lineup features Central Florida’s finest jazz musicians including Miss Jackie Jones, The Cook Trio, Bracher Brown and the Mourning Sons, Shak Nasti and local duos and trios.



As a nonprofit event, the JazzFest is sponsored by a handful of local companies including Florida Hospital, Orange Cycle, and WildSide Bar & Grille.

Returning this year is Tijuana Flats, one of two stage sponsors. “It was an easy decision to come back as a sponsor this year,” said Brandy Blackwell, Marketing Manager for Tijuana Flats. “It’s an important event for the community and we love being a part of it.”



This year Tijuana Flats will have a vendor booth, beer specials, and a prize wheel available to those who attend. A five dollar donation from every adult is required for admission, with 40 percent of the donation going to charitable and community organizations such as the I-Dignity and Monarch Learning Academy.

Tickets are available to purchase beforehand as well as the day. Reserved tables of 10 are available for $200, $250 after Oct. 1, which includes the price of admission, a pre-ordered menu from local restaurants and two bottles of Naked Grape wine. There is also a table decorating contest with prizes for first, second and third place.

Can we bring drinks to JazzFest?

Outside drinks are not allowed this year, but there will be plenty of local restaurants and vendors with a variety of food, wine and beer available to guests.

Can we bring coolers/chairs/blankets/food?

Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to site outside and take in the atmosphere. Outdoor drinks coolers are not allowed. Outdoor food is allowed at this event.

When and what time does it start?

The 2011 JazzFest is on Saturday October 22nd from 5pm-10.30pm.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with the first performances starting at 6:30 p.m. and the last performance wrapping up around 10:30 p.m. A schedule of the night’s musical performances and other event information can be found at collegeparkpartnership.com.
