Island of Adventure is the sister theme park to Universal Studios. Universal Island of Adventure has some of the best theming of all the Orlando theme parks. The attention to detail is impressive. You'll really feel like you're in another world!

This theme park is home to some of the BEST thrill ride rollercoasters in town. If you're a fan of rollercoasters, you won't be disappointed!

The Hulk, Dueling Dragons and Dr Dooms Fear Fall are the top 3 thrill rides here. Spiderman is brilliant too - but it's not really classed as a coaster!

There are many water-rides that the whole family will enjoy Jurassic Park and Toon Lagoon which have many rides suitable for youngsters. Me Ship the Olive is one raft ride where if you don't get totally soaked it's a miracle! Save it until the end of the day and it's a lot of fun!

There are whole worlds devoted to kids' rides Seuss Landing being the favorite! This is famous Dr Seuss books brought to life - even adults will enjoy walking through the bent palm trees and topsy turvy buildings.

The Best Time To Visit?

This is a common question to consider before visiting a theme park. At weekends, school holidays and US national holidays they can be swamped, which of course means long lines and less fun for your time and money.

Although the summer months are the most hot and humid, they can still be really busy because kids are off school and it's a popular family vacation time for families in Europe.
