Disney Magical Express Shuttle Service
Disney Magical Express
- a free shuttle from Orlando airport to Disney World Hotels &
Resorts.
The Magical Express is ideal if you are arriving via airplane
to Orlando International airport AND if you are staying at a
Walt
Disney World Resort.
The Disney Express allows you free round-trip shuttle bus
service to and from your Disney Resort Hotel.
No need to collect bags
at the airport, no need to arrange an expensive rental car or shuttle
service yourself - no need to drive after a long flight. It's all
taken care of by the Mouse!
How does Disney Magical
Express Work?
Step 1 - Booking your
Disney Vacation
When booking your Disney World vacation online - fill out the online
form for the Magic Express service. Or call 407-939-6244 to make
reservations. Tip: make sure to reserve Magic Express as far in advance
as you can - this will allow enough time for Disney to mail your
luggage tags and Magic Express information pack. Disney usually sends
out information packs 3 weeks prior to departure.
Bring your entire information pack with you (not just the luggage tags)
- it has a special barcode on the back which you will need upon arrival
at Orlando airport.
Disney Magical Express luggage service is available for flights
arriving between 5am and 10pm daily. If you know you will be arriving
outside these times do not attach your Disney luggage tags - simply
collect your bags as usual and you will be able to take them directly
to the Disney shuttle bus.
Step 2 - Arriving at
Orlando International (MCO) Airport
International arrivals - claim your baggage and take it through customs
and immigration. Once you have cleared customs proceed to Terminal B,
Level One and follow the signs for Disney Express Welcome Center where
you will leave your bags and board your specific resort bus.
Domestic arrivals - if you arrive at the airport before 10pm your bags
will automatically be transferred to your hotel room. Simply proceed to
the Express Welcome Center in Terminal B, Level One and a Disney rep
will direct you on to your shuttle bus. If you arrive after 10pm just
collect your bags as usual and take them to Terminal B, Level One and
check them in at the Disney Magic Express Welcome Center.
Step 3 - The trip to
Disney World
This is the easy part! Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. The Disney
buses have air conditioning and bathrooms on-board. You will be shown an
informational video about the Disney theme parks to get you in the mood
for your vacation.

Upon arrival at your resort it is appropriate to give the baggage
handler a tip - $2-5 is acceptable.
Your luggage will arrive at your hotel approximately 3 hours after your
arrival. It will be dropped in your room - no need to wait for it
arrive - go and enjoy Disney in the mean time! TIP: It's a good idea to
bring some essentials with you in a carry on bag in case your checked
bags arrive late - e.g. a change of clothes, toiletries, your child's
favorite toy/game.
Step 4 - Departure from
Disney World to Orlando Airport
One day before departure you will notice an envelope attached to your
hotel door. Inside will be your designated departure time (not
negotiable!) and passes for your return bus.
Resort Airline Check-In
Service

Disney Hotel before leaving if:-

or overweight.

Northwest, Southwest, United , US Airways.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I lost my luggage
tags/never received luggage tags?
Simply use other luggage tags before departure stating your name and
the Disney Resort where you will be staying. You will still be able to
use the Magic Express service.
As an extra precaution - check that you are booked in the Magical
Express
system - call 866-599-0951 to confirm your reservation.
What if I miss my
departing bus?
Unfortunately Disney has been very strict on departure times from
resorts. Make sure to be at the Express bus stop in good time, the bus
will not wait for you. If you do miss your return bus, you will not be
able to get on another bus. You will have to arrange your own
transportation to Orlando airport.
If you are short of time an
Orlando
Taxi will be the fastest way to get
to Orlando airport. Remember that Orlando International Airport is 23
miles away from Disney World.
Which Disney Hotels can
use Magic Express?
All Disney owned properties are in participation: see a list of hotels
here -
Walt
Disney World HotelsDowntown
Disney Hotels, Disney Swan & Dolphin Resorts and Shades of Green
Resort do not participate in the Magic Express service.
