Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue

While you’re in Orlando, check out one of the best Disney dinner shows - the Hoop Dee Doo musical revue. This dinner theater show takes place at the Fort Wilderness Resort on Disney property. The show is open to everyone - you don’t have to be staying at Disney to see it!

Hoop Dee Doo is staged at the Pioneer Theater. It is styled to be a 1890s southern country dance hall.

This is a comedy, Country and Western style musical full of dancing, singing, thigh slappin’ and fun! It is certainly aimed more towards younger kids rather than teens.

This dinner show includes as much as you can eat smoked bbq pork ribs, mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, southern style fried chicken, corn on the cob and strawberry shortcake.

What’s included? Soft drinks: Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Root Beer, Sprite, Orange, Pink Lemonade, Iced Tea, Apple Juice, Milk, Chocolate Milk. Also included is Hot Tea and Coffee. For adults 21+ there is a choice of Draft Bud Light, Chardonnay, Rose, Sangria, and Merlot.

There are additional bottle beers, margaritas for an additional cost, plus tax and 18% gratuity! You may be best sticking to the selection included in the price.

Where is the show? In the Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness Lodge on Disney property.

Disney guests can use the free shuttle bus to the resort. To get there, Fort Wilderness guests can take the bus to the Settlement Depot. Non-Fort Wilderness guests can get to Pioneer Hall by driving to Fort Wilderness and parking in the visitor lot then catching a bus at the Outpost Depot.

You can also drive to the Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge and take the boat launch to the FW marina.

Another way, depending on the hours at the Magic Kingdom, are to take a resort bus to the Magic Kingdom and then take a boat from the Magic Kingdom to the Fort Wilderness marina. Pioneer Hall is a very short walk from the marina.

What Time? Shows start at 5pm, 7.30pm and 9.30pm and last approximately 2 hours. Shows run 7 days a week.

How Much Does it Cost? There are 3 categories of pricing and seating for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

Category 1 - Highest Price - Stage level seating right in heart of the action. This will give you the closest possible view of the stage. Adults 10+ $54.99 Children 3-9 $26.99 including taxes and gratuity.

Category 2 - Mid-Priced - Two possible seating positions here - either behind Category 1 seating on the ground floor level or on the floor above with central balcony views of the stage. Adults 10+ $59.99 Children 3-9 $30.99 including taxes and gratuity.

Category 3 - Lowest Price - Two possible seating positions here - either to the left or right side of the balcony seating area. Adults 10+ $50.99 Children 3-9 $25.99 including taxes and gratuity.

How do I get Tickets?

Reservation must be made in advance. You can reserve tickets up to 90 days in advance. If you have a specific day in mind DO book in advance as this is a popular Orlando dinner show that often sells out.
