Discounts are hard to find, but if you book in advance, are a Florida resident or AAA member, you could be in luck.....

It is important to buy tickets as far in advance as possible. As the park limits entry to 1,000 people per day, it’s essential to make reservations before you leave.


Discovery Cove Orlando operates quite differently to all the other theme parks in Orlando. To ensure a relaxing and pleasurable experience for all, attendance is limited and therefore there are no long lines and crowded areas making it difficult relax and enjoy the wildlife.

If you know you want to visit during the summer months (June, July, August) or on a major holiday, you should try to book at least two months in advance.

 Tickets for Discovery Cove: What do they include?

Your day at Discovery Cove Orlando will include breakfast and lunch (including drinks), parking, special dolphin friendly sunscreen, towels, beach chairs, wetsuits, lockers and snorkelling masks. Dolphin packages include a 30 minute dolphin experience.

Each ticket also allows you FREE access to SeaWorld Orlando OR Busch Gardens Tampa Bay OR Aquatica Water Park for 14 consecutive days either before or after your Discovery Cove visit. Alternatively, for $50 per person you can upgrade and visit any of these parks unlimited for 14 consecutive days: SeaWorld Orlando OR Busch Gardens Tampa Bay OR Aquatica Water Park. Round trip coach transportation to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is included from Discovery Cove.

Regular Ticket Prices

Dolphin experience: $199-$289 (plus tax 6%)
Non-dolphin package: $99-$199 (plus tax)
Florida Residents Dolphin Package: $199 (plus tax)
Trainer for a day package: $398 - $458 (plus tax) depending on date booked

Because Discovery Cove is so popular, discounts are very difficult to find. Here are some ideas......

SeaWorld Annual Passholders may be able to get a discounted rate, call ahead for further information.
Florida residents may be able to save on certain days throughout the year. It is advisable to call Discovery Cove 1-877-434-7268 and ask what promotions they may be running.
AAA south members may be entitled to a small discount on tickets, contact your local AAA south office and ask what discounts they have.
