Discounts are hard to find, but if you book in advance, are a Florida resident or AAA member, you could be in luck.....

It is important to buy tickets as far in advance as possible. As the park limits entry to 1,000 people per day, it’s essential to make reservations before you leave.


Discovery Cove Orlando operates quite differently to all the other theme parks in Orlando. To ensure a relaxing and pleasurable experience for all, attendance is limited and therefore there are no long lines and crowded areas making it difficult relax and enjoy the wildlife.

If you know you want to visit during the summer months (June, July, August) or on a major holiday, you should try to book at least two months in advance.

Discovery Cove Tickets: What do they include?

Your day at Discovery Cove Orlando will include breakfast and lunch (including drinks), parking, special dolphin friendly sunscreen, towels, beach chairs, wetsuits, lockers and snorkelling masks.

Each ticket also allows you FREE access to SeaWorld Orlando OR Busch Gardens Tampa Bay OR back to Discovery Cove for 14 consecutive days either before or after your Discovery Cove visit.

Regular Ticket Prices

Until December 31st 2009:-

Dolphin experience: $289 (plus tax 6%)
Non-dolphin package: $189 (plus tax 6%)

Book Early and Save Offer

Book your Discovery Cove tickets at least 45 days in advance and save $50 per admission including a 14-consecutive day pass to either SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa. (This offer is a stand alone offer and can’t be combined with any other discounts).

Save $70 when you reserve the Discovery Cove Ultimate Experience and receive unlimited admission to three parks: SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and Aquatica for up to 14 days.

Florida residents

Save $90 per ticket on seleced dates. Florida residents' tickets for Discovery Cove can only be purchased online here: Florida Resident Deals.

You will need to show a valid Florida ID for each adult in your party - a Florida driving license is sufficient.

Auto Club South

AAA south members are entitled to a small discount on tickets, usually $214 (plus 6% tax) per day, check their website here for inclusive dates AAA discounts page. This applies to Auto Club South members and not any other AAA members from other regions.

Twilight Discovery Program

During the summer months Discovery Cove runs its’ Twilight Discovery Program from 3pm to 9pm. There are only 150 people admitted to the park, so this is the best time to go for a cooler and even less crowed experience. The program includes the dolphin experience, bird feeding, swimming and entrance to the lazy river, sting rays and coral reef.

At dusk you’ll be treated to cocktails and an evening meal including flame grilled steaks, sea food, deserts and a variety of petit fours and cakes. Also included is a 14 day pass to SeaWorld Orlando OR Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The price is $269 plus tax - this saves $20 on the normal day ticket price.
